So its been an eventful last 8 weeks to say the least, since I last spoke to you all I’ve had surgery to remove the ectopic pregnancy as the methotrexate worked to stop the pregnancy progressing but my body did not reabsorb it the way it should have. They have told me my left fallopian tube is blocked with something called Hydrosalpinx. This means along with my right fallopian tube being damaged that we are going to struggle to fall naturally if we try for another baby and if we do fall the chances of another ectopic are extremely high. 😦 So the last few weeks I have not really been focused on my weightloss… In fact I’d probably go as far as to say I’ve not really been eating right at all! It feels good to get all this out so forgive me if it’s not completely on track to do with weightloss, I am however going to get back on track this Wed. I feel like I’ve got all of the junk food cravings out of my system and I have a freezer full of meat and poultry ready for me to cook up a storm. 😉 So starting this week I’m going to dig out some of my old recipes to give them a go, if anyone has any lovely low pp recipes they’d like to share, I’d be happy to try them! Well that’s it from me today, I’ll be back on Wednesday with my dreaded wi result!
Hey everyone, just a quick one today. After my hospital appointment on Monday that I mentioned in my previous post, the doctors told me I didn’t suffer a miscarriage but in fact have an ectopic pregnancy ! 😔
I didn’t know what to think, and it all went so fast as they wanted to operate but because I have had previous abdominal ops from when I was born I am classed as high risk so they went fine the alternative route of giving me an injection called Methotrexate

The long and short of it is that this drug is making me feel quite ill, I’ve been sick and I have no appetite hence why I won’t be on track this week, as it’s just another thing on my mind to worry about. I’m hoping that this goes as smoothly as possible but knowing me it probably won’t!
Anyhow I may come on and have a little rant about how I’m feeling again this week, but things will resume normal order soon as they can, I promise more reviews and recipes when I can!

Morning all, I’m feeling good this morning as feel very much back on track this week, feels good to be back in control! I have weighed in and am very pleased with the result, even after going out for Chinese on Sat night.. Here’s the result this week, drum roll please…
Amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it! I’ve got my 5% this week but I lost a pp, boo!! I plan to do just as well this week too!

I plan on staying on track again this week although I have to go back to the hospital today for more tests as my blood tests from the hospital yesterday show the hcg pregnancy hormone has risen so now they are concerned that maybe it’s an ectopic pregnancy not a miscarriage as first suspected! 😔 I’m trying for positive thinking but I just wish it was all over now.
So depending in how that goes today I may be using a few weeklies on a nice hot chocolate with marshmallows later from Starbucks! 😜

Well it’s been a long year and 2013 hasn’t been the kindest to me so far, what with being hospitalised the beginning of the year, my grandad being diagnosed with cancer and suffering a miscarriage recently.. I’m about ready for 2014 to come steaming in, bringing with it better tidings I hope! In the last year I have put back on all of the weight I lost a couple of years back and feel utterly rubbish if I’m honest.
After the last couple of weeks, I decided enough was enough and weighed my self on Monday and started ww pp once again.. I’m having a pretty epic week so far if I say so my self! I’m glad to be back and will bring you guys and gals more recipes and reviews pronto, I may not post every day but you will hear from me a few times a week!
So I’m back. It’s been a while I know, I have been messing around for quite a long time now and I really really need to get my head back in the game. I have a wedding to go to on 21 September so I’m going to work as hard as I can to try getting a nice dress for that wedding, Weight watchers has worked for me in the past so I’m going to give it another go and really really knuckle down. Be prepared for loads of random posts about exercise, food, drinks and just pretty much anything to do with Pro points. Tomorrow is my weigh in day I’m hoping that I stayed the same this week, I haven’t had a brilliant week I’ve not been on track very well and I had a rubbish lunch today, I am writing my blog again it makes me accountable for everything I eat also having my new iPhone means that I can track everything in my weight watchers app So literarily soon as I eat something I can track it which is brilliant. I can’t wait to share with you all tomorrow what my menu is going to be, I haven’t worked out completely yet but I’m going to sit down and do that in a little while, so I have a fabulous evening and your hear from me again tomorrow.
So I thought I’d drop on and let you know I have been struggling to get back on track since our weekend away.. I am looking at a big fat gain on the scales tomorrow! I have no one to blame but myself as I have just been eating crap.. Chocolate, crisps and worst of all bread!! On Wednesday I started to feel a bit better, however it took a whole big bar of Cadbury’s dairy milk golden biscuit crunch.. Let me give you the stats of this so you know just how low I went:Calories: 1080Protein: 13gCarbs: 112gFat: 66gFibre: 2gPropoints per 200g bar: 3o!!!Yes this is how low I went, I lost control and it felt like it was a bit hopeless this week, the scales were showing +6! I don’t know what happened maybe it was that darn chocolate but I felt I needed to do something, I got up and put the wii on and did 30 mins free step and then I did 30 mins of free weights with my dumbbells. Yesterday I was showing a +5 gain.. So I ate better and went on a 3hr walk to Asda and back with 3 bags of shopping, when I got back I did another 30 mins step on the wii and this morning I was showing a 3.8 gain I have done 30 mins jogging on the wii, plus a little boxing and hula hooping.. I’m hoping I can get it back down to the 3 mark by tomorrow, Not good but still better than the plus 6 it was showing on Wednesday!! Sorry for the dribbley post but I feel you needed an explanation for my absence and I needed to write it all down and own up to myself and all of you how I felt. Tomorrow starts a fresh and I am going to be running my fitness pal alongside weight watchers this week as a little test.. Then for the next two weeks after that I’m going to do ww one week and mfp the other to see which suits me best. I will be here tomorrow with my daily menu and a much happier post! Much love Gems 😀
