Things are looking up!! :D

So after my dreadful day on Wednesday, My interview went very well yesterday I’m feeling very positive about it. I also had an email from another nursery offering me a day trial at there establishment too. Feeling so much more positive than I was on Wednesday!! 

Our good friends from London Jamie and Valeria are down for the day and night today to have a belated celebration for my 30th birthday with some other friends of ours, we haven’t seen them since Christmas so very excited about seeing them!! Instead of going out for a meal I am going to cook mushroom risotto which is a massive hit in this household everybody loves it, and it’s low on points and calories so double bonus!! Off out after our dinner for some drinks and lots of dancing so hopefully that will burn some lbs too!

I’ll post the recipe for the mushroom risotto later on today along with a picture, Also a pic of me in my outfit for tonight!! 😉 I’ll also post an update on my challenges and my weight loss chart from weight watchers so far!

Been a hell of a week.. Why is it only Weds??

So the week started off well.. We joined a gym and I got stuck into it on monday night going for a spin class I thought I could do… Big mistake I lasted all of 10 mins!! 😦 

Realised I’m not as fit as I once was lol. Then along comes some major bust ups in my family resulting in me telling my father he wont be seeing me or my daughter again.. Another sad day 😦 

Then today have ended up without a job… Can it get much worse I am wondering?? Well when I got home I rang round and managed to score a new job interview for Fri 10am! Then me and Chris hit the gym tonight and I also swam 60 laps this morning so feel I have burnt off a lot of the stress I have been carrying this week already and I have a body pump class booked for tomorrow go me! Raaaarrrrrrr! 😀

I’m sorry it’s been quite a depressing post apart from my excellent exercise news.. I promise to do a more upbeat one soon, with a recipe for the best mushroom risotto you will ever taste!! 😉

Whoop here we go!

Soooo walking around with the other half today and we thought we’d go check out how much the local gym was as we haven’t been members for about a year.. By the time we had left we had signed up for a 24 month contract each and we are going to go for a little session tomorrow morning before our friends daughter’s name thanksgiving day!

This one I only started 5 days ago! The other one is a 7 summits of the world one and I am currently on Mount kosciuszko in Australia! This mountain is 7310 feet high which equates to 731 floors.. After 4 days.. Drum roll please……….. I am down to 572 floors to go! That’s a total of 159 floors in 4 days, Woohooo Go me! 

I feel positive that I am getting back on track and can’t wait to start swimming and hitting the gym again.. Have to say a huge thanks to my gorgeous boyfriend for paying my joining fee for me after spending over £200 on my Pandora bracelet for my birthday too!

 


Time to challenge myself!!

Right so since i got my new fit bit last week i want to challenge myself to do more activity, so i looked on the fit bit community forum to see which groups had challenges set up and i came across this one: Walk the hills and mountains of the uk. The idea of this challenge is that throughout the day my fit bit will track the amount of stairs i climb and the elevation on hills when i walk up them and tell me how many floors i have climbed at the end of the day, then i transfer this to the forum where the person running the challenge has kindly worked out how many feet are in each of these places and converted them into floors… So voila! I then update this everyday on the group page and I am also keeping a personal record of it on excel for myself to print out once I have completed it! Over the last 2 days I have taken a big chunk out of the first hill which is the North Downs.. I am challenging myself to do at least 30 floors a day!!!

I will keep you updated as we go and will also fill you in on another challenge I have started today… 7 Summits!! :O
