Wi day tomorrow.. Ooohh the excitement!

So tomorrow is wi day and I’m really looking forward to it as the scales have been showing some pretty nice numbers since I started eating my breakfast again! ๐Ÿ˜€ I went for a nice wander down the seafront today as I saw a pic on facebook of a philadelphia stand down there giving away choccy treats mmm yummy! I had 5 small bites when I say small I mean like 1″ size so I pointed them at 6pp, which I think is more than fair. My menu today was:

Breakfast: The usual.. 35g Hot oat cereal 3pp, 150ml skimmed milk 1pp.

Lunch: I marinaded a pack of that bernard mathhews turkey chunks 3pp in 2 tbsp lime juice 0pp and 1/4 tsp each of garam masala, garlic powder, cumin, ginger, cayenne, paprika, black pepper 0pp, then mixed that with 60g cooked cous cous 2pp and some sliced mushrooms 0pp.

Dinner: Nume Spicy piri piri chicken bake… Beware and always check the pp as this says 9pp on the pack but actually worked out at 10pp!!ย 

Snacks: 5 mini choc philly bites 6pp, Banana maybe if I’m peckish?! ๐Ÿ˜‰ย 

Total used 25/26!ย

Is it odd I’m addicted to mushrooms.. And a recipe! :)

Helloooooo.. I have decided that I cannot go a day without mushrooms at all I love them they are yummy and filling and I recommend everyone to go out and get a punnet right now! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Hehe well only if you like them that is.. Anyhow am in quite a happy mood today even if it is the dreaded totm.. Strange what stepping on the scales can do for your mood, I am almost 100% certain now that it is breakfast that is key for me with this weight loss malarchy as today I have been light again! I have also just spent a small fortune for O/H birthday in Sept.. We are going to our friends in London for the weekend following his birthday, So I have booked a surprise karaoke session at the Lucky voice venue in Soho for the four of us and we get a free round of shots as it’s a birthday.. Also just about to book a table at our Favourite little Italian restaurant Pulcinella, it was the our first restaurant we went to on our first weekend in London when we first started seeing one another just over 3 years ago.. Oh He is going to love it! Anyway…

Menu today was:

Breakfast: 35g hot oat cereal 3pp, 150ml Skimmed milk 1pp.

Lunch: 200g nume baked beans 4pp, 50g wafer thin turkey 1pp, creamy mushrooms 1pp.

Dinner: Nume Cajun spiced chicken fettucine 11pp ( Yes I am slightly addicted)

Snacks: Banana, WW ginger crunch biscuits 2pp.

Recipe for Creamy Mushrooms:- per recipe 1pp.

Ingredients:

Sliced mushrooms around 80-100g.ย 

30g extra light philadelphia 1pp.

Pinch of black pepper and cayenne pepper.

Dried mixed herbs to taste.. Beware if you use more than around 15g the pp will go from 0pp to 1pp.

Method:

Put mushrooms in a microwaveable container, season with the peppers and blitz uncovered on high for 1 min. Once done add the philadelphia and mixed herbs and mix well, Serve immediately or allow to cool and serve cold.

Think I’ve cracked it! :D

Hey everyone, so after my post (Moan!) yesterday I had breakfast this morning and voila I am lighter today even after breakfast, lunch and dinner! ๐Ÿ˜€ I have however got back ache, tummy ache and moodiness to match the medusa scorned right now (I hate totm) I feel exhausted so haven’t made it to the gym and it’s been raining all day not a great combination to get you smiling.. I did however have a lovely lunch that was so simple and tasted so much like comfort food it did make me smile ๐Ÿ™‚ย 

Menu today:

Breakfast: 35g hot oat cereal 3pp, 200ml skimmed milk 2pp.

Lunch: 2 Weight watchers tortilla wraps 5pp, 60g sliced mushrooms cooked with a pinch of black pepper in microwave for 1 min opp, 30g extra light philadelphia mixed into cooked mushrooms 1pp, 1tsp mixed dried herbs 0pp and pinch of cayenne pepper 0pp, 4 slices of garlic sausage 2pp.

Dinner:ย  200g mash potato 4pp, 150g Nume baked beans 3pp, 50g wafer thin turkey 2pp, sprinkled with 1 sachet butter buds 0pp and ย a pinch of garlic powder 0pp

Total used 21/26 daily pro points.

And looking out the window it’s finally stopped raining.. Hurrah! Things are looking up already.. Much Love Gems ๐Ÿ˜€ย 

 

Obsessed and a little annoyed!!

So I openly admit to being a little obsessed when it comes to weighing myself.. I do tend to stand on the scales more than twice a day.. A little crazy maybe but it seems to keep me on track most of the time, however yesterday and today I couldn’t seem to fathom it, why I am heavier even though I am 100% on track have not had any naughty food only the alcohol I drank on Sunday which was all within my weeklies and I have done more exercise already than last week??

I have now come to the conclusion after racking my brain over what I did differently that it is quite simple.. I haven’t had breakfast at all this week and looking back over my fitbit diary from last week I was having between 1200-1400 calories a day and this week so far yesterday I just scraped 1000, today 1100. I’m hoping that by eating breakfast for the rest of the week that this is what it is and I can bring it back because if not I am at a total loss as to what it could be!ย 

My menu today was:ย 

Breakfast: None=Bad!ย 

Lunch: 2 weightwatchers tortilla wraps 5pp, 6 slices Aldi garlic sausage 3pp, 40g co-op reduced fat grated cheese 3pp, sliced peppers and onions 0pp, 30g light salad cream 2pp.

Dinner: Nume Cajun spiced chicken fettucine 11pp

Snack: After c25k week 3 run 2 and a swim – Banana 0pp.

Happy Bank Holiday.. :D

Hi there so had a fab day yesterday, ate all my dailies and drank most of my weeklies.. Oooppps! Oh well we only live once right?! ๐Ÿ˜‰ One thing I have to tell you is do not if you are a cider drinker buy Henry Weston’s vintage cider without knowing how many pp is in a pint 20pp omg!!! Will so not be having one of those again anytime soon! So I’m starting my Ripped in 30 challenge tonight too am a little bit nervous but mostly looking forward to it, Off to the gym tomorrow too for the second run of week 3 c25k, then a 40 length swim to start training for my channel swim.. Feeling positive and in control!ย 

So my menu today is:

Breakfast: none got up quite late, Well what are bank holidays for eh?! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Lunch: Discovery tortilla wrap 3pp, 15g light salad cream 1pp, 40g pastrami 1pp and some chopped pepper and onion 0pp.

Dinner: Morisson Nume Chilli Wedge Melt ready meal 9pp, 30g co-op reduced fat grated cheese 2pp.

Snacks: Off to Costa in a bit so instead of my normal 0pp ย americano.. I may get the other half to treat me to a skinny sugar free hazelnut latte for 4pp! Banana 0pp ๐Ÿ˜‰

Total used 20/26ppย 

Another note I have to say is always check the nutritional values for your meals as I bought that meal I’m having for dinner tonight and it says 8pp on pack and when I worked it out with the nutritional values it was 9pp, May not seem like a lot but 1pp makes all the difference if your not counting 1 a week etc, So check, check, check!! Also weight watchers tortilla wraps are on offer for 75p in Morissons! ๐Ÿ˜€ย

Oh what a beautiful day.. And a Recipe! :D

Good morning, Good mornnniiiinng! Well I feel fantastic this morning got up at 7:30 am and took myself off to the gym.. Hard going running when you haven’t done it for a couple of weeks but I did it, I pushed through even though it felt like I was going to die lol and I feel fantastic for it, so glad I went!! Tomorrow I am starting the Jillian Michaels dvd ripped in 30 3-4 times a week so hoping that will help me tone up whilst continuing my running and swimming!ย 

We are off to a bbq This afternoon, so as I didn’t want to go overboard with food.. ( I need my pp for booze?!) ๐Ÿ˜‰ I took it upon myself to make some Veg & Halloumi kebabs to take with us.. Recipe at the bottom!ย 

My menu today is*:

Breakfast: Maxitone Sculptress Protein Shake 5pp, Banana 0pp.

Lunch: 4 Veg & Halloumi kebabs 5pp, Salad 0pp, Maybe some chicken 5-6pp.

Dinner: I doubt I’ll be hungry lol But I plan on a few drinks ๐Ÿ˜‰ย

Veg & Halloumi Kebabs – 14pp per recipe, 1pp per 1-2, 4pp per 3, 5pp per 4 etc..ย 

Ingredients:

24 Medium size mushrooms, whole – 0pp

3 Red peppers, Chopped into 1″ pieces – 0pp

2 Red onions, Chopped into wedges – 0pp

220g Lighter Halloumi, Cubed into 1″ pieces – 14pp

12 Wooden skewersย 

Method:

Thread the ingredients onto the skewers alternately with 3 Pieces of halloumi on each.. And cook either under the grill or on bbq!ย
